In spite of being born and raised in west coast states, Ken and Sue met at Vennard Bible College in Iowa and have spent their 38 years of married life in the Midwest until moving to Florida last July. Ken has a BA from Vennard College and attended Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. Rev. Brakefield was Ordained by The Evangelical Church and has served in pastoral ministries for 28 years. In 2005 he was elected as the district Superintendent for The Evangelical Church in the upper Midwest and served in that office for the last eight years. Ken and Sue moved to Florida to be closer to their daughter and family.  They also have a son who is serving as a missionary with Evangelical Church Missions in Cubatao, Brazil.
Welcome to the team, Chaplain Brakefield!
