The Cocoa Bridge Work Release is proud to accept 12 new Bicycles from the Brevard County Sherriff’s. This donation was arranged by Chaplain Bruce Wade.

Chaplain Fidel Molleturo joined the Bridges Chaplaincy Services team in 11/5/13 as Chaplain of the Orlando Bridge.
With almost two decades of experience in the ministry Fidel earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry Leadership and Counseling from Florida Christian College and completed two Clinical Pastoral Education units working as Chaplain at Florida Hospital.
A passion for ministry has been a strong staple in Mr. Molleturo’s life for many years. After relocating from New York to Florida in 1995, in order to expand his family business, he began working as a volunteer chaplain at the Orange County Jail and in 2007 he became the full-time Chaplain.

With a Bachelors degree in Christian Education and a Masters in Biblical Counseling from New Spirit Theological Bible College, Chaplain Alan Dawson has served as the Senior Pastor of Jesus People Living Word Church, Int. Inc. since Feb. 2001 in Jacksonville, Florida, where his ministry is active in the community.
In addition, he has served in the Pastoral Care Dept. at the University of Florida Health-Shands Hospital since 2011 providing Pastoral Care services to patients and staff.
He joined the Bridges Chaplaincy Services team in 1/16/14 and his passion is to train men and women to do the work of the ministry to the glory of God.

On May 2, 2014 two of our TOBTC-WR guys, Xavier and Greg, were baptized by Pastor Dan Daly at Westwood Church. It has been such a blessing to witness The Lord transforming these mens lives!  Pastor Dan Daly has been instrumental in mentoring the men and welcoming them into their church with open arms and hearts.

On February 12, 2014, Bridges of America dedicated its Jacksonville facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by more than 125 people. Members of the Jacksonville community, as well as representatives from the Florida Department of Corrections and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, participated in the dedication. 
The state-of-the-art facility can house 344 male inmates and clients among its Transition Center, Work Release Facility, and Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Program.  Program speakers included David Roman, Director of Policy for Mayor Alvin Brown, Tara Wildes, Director of Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Department of Corrections, and Michael Crews, Florida Department of Corrections Secretary.
